I recently received a comment from a course participant on the Making an Impact! course on doing a presentation: he thanked me for making it clear in the group that when someone offers us some ‘feedback’ (i.e. reactions to what we do or say) it can be

a) useful, and
b) a gift from the other person.

even though at the time it might touch a raw nerve that the other person knew nothing about.
